Got THON Spirit?

For THON 2008, the Spirit Point Competition was revolutionized to make it bigger and better. Points are awarded for attendance at all official Pre-THON events, based on an attendance scale to allow all organizations to start on an even playing field. The points are based on the proportion of the organization that attends each event. In order for organizations to participate in these attendance-based spirit point opportunities, the number of the organization’s active members must be submitted to the Entertainment Overall Chair.

Spirit Point winners will be announced before learning the linedance on THON weekend on Friday, February 16. This year there are numerous incentives to participating in THON Spirit. The winning organization for both Greek and non-Greek organizations will receive the following prize:

1st Place Prize: The organization with the most spirit points will receive a prize package including: floor passes for the entire organization from 4:30-6:30am on Sunday, February 24, a booth at next year’s Family Carnival, 1 additional General Organization Admission pass for THON 2008, priority registration for 2008 Road to THON Celebration and a surprise for the organization’s THON 2008 dancers.
