Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication for THON 2008.  As a result of your time and effort THON 2008 raised $6,615,318.04 to support The Four Diamonds Fund's efforts in fighting pediatric cancer.  It is because of the devotion and enthusiasm of all you THON chairs, captains, committee members, and dancers that THON is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world. 
 

Captain and committee member applications for THON 2009 will be posted in early September.  However there is still work that needs to be done to continue our fight to find a cure.  Be sure to stay involved over the summer by thanking friends and family who supported your efforts, picking your THON chairs as soon as possible, continuing to be in contact with your THON families or even visit them, and planning on how you will recruit new members in the fall.  Penn State students are committed to showing the families of The Four Diamonds Fund that they are not alone in their fight against pediatric cancer, and they never will be.
