All Captains
Supply Logistics, as a committee, is responsible for getting supplies donated in order for THON 2007 to be a success, and to lay the groundwork so that donors continue to help Dance Marathon from year to year. In addition to the specific descriptions below, all captains will work on several side-projects, including but not limited to:

(1) Dancer Bags- We will be getting supplies for the dancer bags and filling the bags with them in the weeks before THON.

(2) Committee Shirt Distribution- We will be sorting and passing out the committee shirts to captains in the weeks before THON.

(3) 5K Runner Bags- We will be helping with runner bag distribution at the 5K.

Administrative Assistant (1)**

This captain will be in charge of general tasks like taking minutes and managing communication within the committee. (S)he will also be in charge of THON’s relationship with ProCopy and will take care of other committees’ copying needs. Another responsibility of this captain will be to oversee the gift-card initiative, which means working with major chains to get gift cards that can be used to get supplies that are needed in the last-minute. This captain will also be a liaison to the Donor Relations Committee and make sure that supply donors have been given the benefits they should get. It’s important for this person to be very organized and good at multi-tasking.

Committee Liaisons (3)

These captains will form a small sub-committee that is in charge of keeping track of supplies and requests from start to finish. They will be the experts on who requested what, storage inventory, and status of requests. They will work together as a team to keep a running inventory of supplies in storage, and act as the link between Supply Logistics and all other THON committees. These captains should be very organized, able to maintain clear communication, and be great at resolving issues that may arise so that everyone is kept happy ?

Donor Contacts (18)**

These captains are the ones who represent THON to potential donors everywhere. They will work throughout the year to form professional relationships with donors to get all of the supplies that THON needs in order to be as amazing as ever. This involves speaking with managers and representatives at companies both large and small, and forging a relationship that will hopefully not only benefit THON 2007 but will be in place for years to come. These captains should be business-minded, enjoy making deals with professionals, and have a talent for making strangers fall in love with THON. Enthusiasm is key! These 18 captains will be broken down into sub-categories:

• House Wares, Cleaning, and Medical Supplies
• Paper & Office Supplies
• Paint, Hardware, and Lumber
• Toys, Games, and Sporting Goods
• Technology and Random Needs
