Did you know every school day 46 children in the United States are diagnosed with cancer?  This year, I am making a difference in the lives of children battling cancer through my support of the Penn State Dance Marathon, more commonly known as THON. 

Every year Penn State unites with one goal: conquering childhood cancer.

Since 1977, THON has partnered with The Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Children’s Hospital.  THON’s support allows The Fund to offset the costs of treatment that a family’s insurance will not cover and supports multiple research endowments.

THON is a yearlong fundraising effort that culminates in a two-day, no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon!  Last year we raised a record breaking $6.6 million to conquer childhood cancer, making THON the largest student-run philanthropy in the world.
