Every penny counts in the fight against pediatric cancer! The funds raised make it possible for the Four Diamonds Fund to continue providing superior care, comprehensive support, and innovative research to the children receiving treatment at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. There are endless ways that your organization can fundraise for THON, but the following provides information about the easiest and most sustainable among them.
Volunteers can raise money for their organization by holding fundraising events throughout the fundraising season. Since first partnering with the Four Diamonds in 1977, the hard working and dedicated Penn State students have raised more than $101 million for the fight against pediatric cancer. During three designated weekends throughout the fundraising season, THON volunteers travel throughout the mid-Atlantic region to fundraise via canister solicitation.
Any time during the fundraising season, volunteers can canvass (door-to-door) for THON.
THON volunteers can send THONvelope letters to their friends and family as a simple way to solicit donations.
THON volunteers can solicit donations from Small Businesses or Corporations by submitting a “New Company Contact” form on THINK and sending the company a Corporate Solicitation Packet.
