THON and Four Diamonds help offset any treatment costs to families that insurance does not cover. A large portion of the donated money also supports Penn State Hershey’s innovative research programs in pursuit of a cure for cancer for children worldwide. This year, around 12,500 children in the United States will be diagnosed with cancer. By making a donation today, you are helping make a child's dream to grow up a reality.
The quickest and easiest way to donate is online! Your donation will be processed on our secure servers and you will receive a confirmation via email as well as a receipt by mail. To donate online, click the yellow button labeled "Donate Now" at the top right of the page. Please visit our Crediting Student Organizations page to learn more about crediting and how to credit a student organization!
Checks should be made payable to "Penn State Dance Marathon" and sent to the THON office at:
Penn State Dance Marathon
University Park, PA 16802
To credit your donation to a Penn State student organization, please write the organization name and number in the memo section of the check. To learn more about crediting, please visit our Crediting Student Organizations page.
Company sponsorships of THON can be initiated through an online or mail donation, as instructed above. However, to receive the benefits available to our company sponsors, the following additional steps should be taken:
If donating online, ensure that a Corporate Credit Card is charged for the charitable gift. Please indicate this on the "Donate Now" page and supply the Company Name when requested.
If donating by mail, ensure that the check is from a corporate checking account.
For further information on a Company Sponsorship, please visit our Company Sponsorship page.
You can double or triple the impact of your donation to THON by participating in your employer’s matching gifts programs. Many employers will match any charitable contribution made by their employees. For further information, please visit our Employee Matching page.
